Hotline Established For Incoming Fire Relief Donations

https://flic.kr/p/akuRdR

The state of Montana and a U.S. Senator have set up online portals to help wildfire and drought affected producers and small businesses.

The Montana Agriculture Department has set up a hotline to act as a “one stop shop” to take donations or help affected producers locate hay, fencing and transportation.

Ag Director Bob Thomas said in a statement that the state’s ag industry has been disproportionately impacted by disasters this year and there’s a major need for resources. And he said folks from across Montana and the rest of the country have stepped forward with overwhelming support.

And Montana Democratic U.S. Senator Jon Tester has launched an online portal to help Montanans who have suffered financial loss related to wildfires and drought.
