Zonta Club of Billings and the Montana State University-Billings Phoenix Center are having a free exhibit this week about sexual assault awareness.
The “What Were You Wearing” survivor art installation will be available for viewing in the MSUB Library this entire week starting Saturday.
Since the #metoo movement, universities across the country have been making an effort toward public awareness of sexual assault.
Event organizers say the goal of the “What Were You Wearing” display is to help people understand that it is not about clothing. They say it is meant to move people away from blaming victims.
The outfits on display were donated by survivors.
To view this exhibit, visit the MSUB Library, open Monday-Thursday from 7:30 A.M. to 8:00 P.M., Friday 7:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Saturday from 10:00 A.M to 3:00 P.M., and Sunday from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 p.m.
