THIS SUNDAY: Emily Saliers of Indigo Girls on Mountain Stage

This Sunday Mountain Stage will record episode #909 at the Culture Center Theater in Charleston, WV at 7pm. Broadway star and West Virginia native comes home to the mountain state to guest-host Mountain Stage and showcase performances by of Indigo Girls, alt-pop duo , indie-soul songwriter , former Varnaline/Space Needle member and multi-instrumentalist , and emerging roots-folks artist . This show is presented as part of FestivALL Fall.

Mountain Stage is a production of West Virginia Public Broadcasting and distributed by NPR Music. The program is heard on over 200 public radio stations nationwide. Adam is a native of Greenbrier County and graduated from Radford University in 2005 with a degree in Music Business and minor in Media Studies. After completing an internship with Mountain Stage, he was hired as Assistant Producer in October 2005. He became Executive Producer when his predecessor and co-founder Andy Ridenour retired in August 2011.
