The NPR Student Podcast Challenge inspired thousands of students across the country to submit, and one student at Clancy Elementary School in central Montana inspired his teacher to take the challenge a step further.

Seventh-grader Jack Johnson’s entry focuses on prejudice and discrimination in Montana and mentions one incident in particular.

The Republican National Committee is sending out policy surveys with the option of enclosing $15 for processing a "Census Document." The Montana Department of Commerce is reminding Montana residents the actual U.S. Census will begin in March 2020 and will not ask for any money.

Three Montana cities have passed school bonds for construction, including a $125 million bond in Bozeman to build a new high school and remodel the current one.
