A new federal bill co-sponsored by Montana’s Democratic Senator Jon Tester proposes temporarily stopping large food and agribusiness corporations from consolidating. It aims to increase competition in the market to support better prices for farmers and ranchers.

Sanders Reaches Out To Middle Class Montana Voters

Democratic Presidential Candidate Bernie Sanders brought his message that he’s the champion for the the middle- and working-classes at a Rally in Billings last night.

Sanders specifically singled out workers in the fossil fuels industry.

“I know,” he says. “I know that I am in coal country.”

But he says he feels obliged to be honest and bring the same message to Montana that he does to his home state Vermont.
