U.S. Sen. Jon Tester echoed a call by many democrats for Secretary of Labor Alexander Acosta’s resignation Wednesday during a Facebook Live town hall. 

The U.S. Department of Transportation announced Tuesday that Montana will get nearly $48 million in grants for airports. It’s part of $477 million in airport improvement grants nationwide.

A town hall event with Democratic U.S. Senator Jon Tester brought around 100 people to the Helena College Student Center Tuesday morning.

Tester was praised for his work on public lands and stance on funding public education, but received some push back on issues surrounding the southern border.

The crowd was overall favorable to the state’s senior Senator as microphones were passed between rows of plastic seats for an hour of questions.

A Crow storyteller just won a national award for his craft. Grant Bulltail is one of nine recipients of the National Heritage Fellowship for folk and traditional arts. It's an annual prize awarded by the National Endowment for the Arts.

Montana’s senior U.S. Senator Jon Tester met with constituents at a town hall event Friday in Missoula. About 150 people packed into one of the meeting rooms in Missoula’s Holiday Inn Parkside Friday to interact with Tester.

The town hall was an open door event with no invite needed. It was his second in person town hall of the year and his ninth since President Trump took office.

Montana Senators Steve Daines and Jon Tester found a new place for a bill that federally recognizes the Little Shell Tribe of Chippewa Indians. Last night, they placed it within the National Defense Authorization Act.

Montana Republicans' 2020 election lineup shuffled again Monday after U.S. Rep. Greg Gianforte decided to run for governor instead of re-election, with State Auditor Matt Rosendale jumping into the now-open House race seven months after failing to unseat U.S. Sen. Jon Tester.

In one week Veterans are supposed to get improved access to healthcare in the private sector via the Mission Act, which Montana Senator Jon Tester wrote. But there are still some big unanswered questions about whether it will work.

The Mission Act is Congress’ second attempt since 2014 to make it easier for vets to use their benefits to pay for healthcare in the private sector if nearby VA facilities don’t offer what they need, or if they’d have to wait weeks to get it.
