Second Marijuana Legalization Ballot Measure Filed In Montana
Two competing plans to ask Montana voters to legalize and tax recreational marijuana are underway in the state. A group called MontanaCan is the latest initiative sponsor calling for a change in the state’s policies for marijuana.
More Wyoming residents favor the legalization of marijuana than at any time in the past four years. That’s according to a survey of around 600 randomly selected people conducted by the Wyoming Survey and Analysis Center at the University of Wyoming.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints came out in cautious support of medical marijuana last month but now says the legislature should decide how it’s legalized in Utah, not the voters in a citizen’s initiative this November.
