University of Montana History professor Mehrdad Kia was born and raised in Iran and came to the United States when he was 17.
His father was thrown in jail following the 1979 Revolution for refusing to collaborate with Iran’s then-new Islamic regime.
Edward O’Brien sat down with Kia to discuss the Trump administration’s decision to kill Qassem Soleimani, Iran’s most influential paramilitary commander.
