A third Democrat has entered the race for Montana’s new Congressional seat.
Bozemanite Cora Neumann, who holds a PhD in public health policy, announced her bid for the U.S. House of Representatives Tuesday. Neumann previously ran for the U.S. Senate.
In a video posted to Twitter, Neumann said she’ll fight for more jobs, good wages and affordable living in Montana.

Neumann joins two other Democrats in the race, state lawmaker Laurie Bishop and attorney Monica Tranel. Republicans Ryan Zinke, former Secretary of the Interior, and Al Olszewski, a former state lawmaker and surgeon, are also running.
For the first time in 30 years, Montana will send two representatives to Congress due to the state’s population increase. The two districts have not yet been drawn, but representatives aren’t required to live in the district they’re campaigning for.
Republican Matt Rosendale is currently Montana’s lone House representative.
