'Unlike Anything I've Ever Seen': Powerful Wind Storm Flattens Fields In Iowa, Midwest

Meaghan Anderson, an Iowa agronomist, speaks to host Robin Young about a powerful wind event, known as a derecho, that flattened about one-third of Iowa’s cropland, blowing winds over 100 miles per hour in some parts of the state.

Monday’s derecho caused damage across six states, but Iowa suffered the worst, with wind and hail damage to 10 million acres of corn and soybean crops.
