Robert talks to Louise Shelley, international organized crime expert and a professor in the Department of Justice, Law and Society at American University. Shelley says that pyramid schemes such as the one that sparked the rioting in Albania have happened in other former Eastern Bloc countries. She says that people who are not experienced with capitalism cannot recognize these scams as frauds. People have lost their life savings, their retirement money, and their homes.
