Darby Man Arrested For Possessing Homemade Bomb

The Ravalli County Sheriff's Office arrested 35-year-old Nicholas Jordan Amidon for possessing what appeared to be homemade bombs in a room at the Budget Inn.

Police evacuated the motel and explosive technicians using a bomb-sniffing dog and removed the devices.

Authorities say all of the devices were recovered and they do not believe there is any additional danger to the community.

Deputies initially contacted Amidon in the early morning hours, due to an outstanding arrest warrant for a different offense.
