The restaurant industry is feeling immense financial strain after many establishments were forced to close in an attempt to slow the spread of the coronavirus.
In addition to closing his restaurants, chef and restaurateur Tom Colicchio ( @tomcolicchio) says he’s also had to lay off hundreds of his employees. He describes how detrimental this pandemic has been and how difficult it will be for independent restaurants to bounce back.
