Montana’s lone U.S. House representative was one of few dissenting votes this week in an overwhelmingly bipartisan resolution announcing support for the people of Ukraine.

Republican Matt Rosendale voted against the resolution demanding a cease-fire and withdrawal of Russian forces and expressing support for Ukraine’s sovereignty.

The resolution passed on a vote of 426-3, with Rosendale joining Republican representatives from Kentucky and Arizona voting against it.

Rosendale has previously said the United States has “no legal or moral obligation to come to the aid of either side in this foreign conflict.”
