Stapleton tweeted Thursday that he’s formed a “testing the waters” committee, a type of federal election committee that does not require an individual to register as a candidate while raising and spending money to explore the feasibility of running for office.
Stapleton says he wants to help solve problems, like what he calls a broken U.S. economy and the country’s debt.
