A new creature has been added to the 100 animals of 56 different species that call ZooMontana home.

Tuesday, November 4, the zoo announced on Facebook that Poblano, a black-footed ferret, will make the zoo his home.

Poblano is three years old and comes to Billings from the Black-Footed Ferret Conservation center in Colorado. He is a retired breeding ferret and will enjoy retirement at ZooMontana.

He is the first black-footed ferret at the zoo.
