David Seidel is proud to lead the journalists at Radio IQ and WVTF as news director. David joined the newsroom in May 2017 and brings more than 20 years of experience in broadcast journalism in Virginia. Prior to joining Radio IQ David was an assistant news director, assignment manager and producer at WDBJ Television in Roanoke. He also worked as a reporter for WHSV Television in Harrisonburg. David graduated from Washington and Lee University in Lexington with degrees in journalism and history.

Tony Gonzalez, a reporter in Nashville since July 2011, covers city news, features inspiring people, and seeks out offbeat stories. He’s also an award-winning juggler and hot chicken advocate who lives in East Nashville with his wife, a professional bookbinder. During his time at The Tennessean newspaper, his investigative reporting and feature stories were honored in the state and nationally. Gonzalez grew up near Chicago and came to Nashville after three years reporting and editing at Virginia's smallest daily newspaper, The News Virginian.

Elizabeth Jensen was appointed as NPR's Public Editor in January 2015. In this role, she serves as the public's representative to NPR, responsible for bringing transparency to matters of journalism and journalism ethics. The Public Editor receives tens of thousands of listener inquiries annually and responds to significant queries, comments and criticisms.

Here & Now co-host Jeremy Hobson started telling stories on the radio when he was a kid and hasn't stopped since.

Jeff Cohen started in newspapers in 2001 and joined Connecticut Public in 2010, where he worked as a reporter and fill-in host. In 2017, he was named news director.

I am from Billings and love it here. Previously, I worked as a sales manager, which I loved, but when I had the opportunity to use my strengths to benefit public radio, which benefits so many communities, I was so excited at the invitation to be a part of the team. In my free time, the thing I love most is spending family time with my Fiance, Ryan and our daughter, Olivia. During the summer our favorite thing to do is drive through Yellowstone National Park and travel as much as we can.

Monique will graduate from UNC-Chapel Hill in May 2017 with majors in Southern studies and women’s and gender studies.
