Elizabeth Jensen was appointed as NPR's Public Editor in January 2015. In this role, she serves as the public's representative to NPR, responsible for bringing transparency to matters of journalism and journalism ethics. I am from Billings and love it here. Previously, I worked as a sales manager, which I loved, but when I had the opportunity to use my strengths to benefit public radio, which benefits so many communities, I was so excited at the invitation to be a part of the team. In my free time, the thing I love most is spending family time with my Fiance, Ryan and our daughter, Olivia. During the summer our favorite thing to do is drive through Yellowstone National Park and travel as much as we can.

Monique will graduate from UNC-Chapel Hill in May 2017 with majors in Southern studies and women’s and gender studies.
