Resounds: Sara Mast and Christine Joy
Passage is an exhibition currently showing at the Yellowstone Art Museum in Billings that explores the mystery of nature through the transformation of materials, texture, and form. Bozeman-based artists Christine Joy and Sara Mast, first exhibited together in 2022 at Aunt Dofe’s gallery in Willow Creek, Montana and have incorporated new works for this special exhibition.

Even as climate change makes wildfires more frequent and intense, more people are moving to fire-prone areas. The fastest such growth is in the Southeast, where few consider wildfire much of a threat.

Sectarian Violence Stirs Neighborhood, Militias
The west Baghdad neighborhood of Amiriya is one of the city's most dangerous. There are daily sectarian killings, which has included people being pulled off buses and shot, others burned alive in their homes. Residents are gathering arms, and new militias have sprung up.

Lahaina was expensive before the fire. Some worry rebuilding will price them out
Since the fire residents have gotten multiple calls from realtors offering to buy their land. Activists want a role in planning, to keep developers from pushing out those who call Lahaina home.
