Yellowstone County records more than 300 new COVID cases, hitting a new daily record

Yellowstone County recorded 334 new COVID-19 cases Thursday, setting a new daily record, according to RiverStone Health. The county also recorded one new death, a woman in her 80s who was fully vaccinated and had underlying health conditions.

RiverStone Health reports a record high of 2,054 cases awaiting investigation. It says it is prioritizing investigation of coronavirus cases involving young people ages 0 to 19 in an effort to help slow down the spread of the virus in schools.

Yellowstone County has 2,866 active cases of COVID-19.
