Disappearance of 22-Year-Old Woman In Grand Teton National Park Under Investigation

Law enforcement authorities are investigating the disappearance of a Blue Point, New York woman who is believed to have been in Grand Teton National Park in late August.

A Suffolk County Police news release reports 22-year-old Gabby Petito was traveling in a white Ford Transit Van with Florida plates with her boyfriend when she stopped communicating with friends and family.

Petito’s family reported her missing to Suffolk County Police in New York on Saturday after their most recent contact with her the last week of August.

Police report the van she was traveling in has been recovered.

Petito is described as 5-feet 5-inches tall, 110 pounds, with blonde hair, blue eyes and several tattoos.
