The world’s most complete T. Rex skeleton has ambled into Bozeman, for a seven-month stay at the Museum of the Rockies.

The sagebrush dotted hills of Glenrock, Wyoming, may look unassuming, but underground there is a wealth of hidden fossils that scientists and students from all over the world come to unearth. A group of volunteers is responsible for preserving the bones for all to see.

Dr. Persons is a professor at The College of Charleston in South Carolina and the research curator of the Paleo Museum, in Glenrock, Wyoming. Each summer he brings students to spend three weeks in the tiny central-Wyoming town of about 2500 residents. They slowly and meticulously search for fossils on the nearby Glenrock Exposure.

A remarkable, new species of horned, plant-eating dinosaur found in Montana was unveiled June 20 at the Natural History Museum of Utah. The horned dinosaur is the first ever exposed anywhere on the planet.
