As the cultural season winds down, and arts organizations face new funding challenges, Billings Symphony continues to make the music - sometimes, even giving it away for free.
The organization’s annual Symphony in the Park takes place at Pioneer Park Sunday, June 29 in Billings. The event anticipates over ten thousand attendees, and is the largest free program given to the community by the organization.
YPR’s Karl Lengel spoke with Mario Lopez, the John W. & Carol L.H. Green Chief Executive Officer about Symphony in the Park, and the Symphony’s upcoming 75th Anniversary Season.
