We are pleased to announce that we’ve added a reporter to our team. Nate Hegyi will be expanding our capacity to bring you news from the Gallatin Valley and beyond as Yellowstone Public Radio’s first-ever Bozeman-based reporter.
Hegyi joins us with a knack for regionally relevant storytelling. After graduating from the University of Montana's Environmental Science and Natural Resource Journalism M.A. program, he served as a part-time reporter for Montana Public Radio. Hegyi has contributed to NPR, Marketplace, The Guardian, and reported on tribal bison hunting near Yellowstone National Park for an episode of NPR's Code Switch.
When he's not making radio, he's going on long trail runs with his pup, Pavel, or picking around on his guitar.
