Maddie Alpert

Community Engagement Manager

Maddie has been a public radio junkie since her middle school days and enthusiastically joined the Yellowstone Public Radio team as the Underwriting and Public Information specialist in April 2017.

In her off-time, Maddie loves exploring Montana hiking trails, writing and playing folk music, and drinking too much coffee at local establishments.

Ways to Connect

Corby Skinner and Anna Paige are the hosts of Resounds: Art and Culture on the High Plains, where they interview the people creating art in its myriad forms throughout the YPR listening area.  We sat down with them to talk about the show, making radio, and what interviews they're excited to bring to air.

We are pleased to announce that we’ve added a reporter to our team. Nate Hegyi will be expanding our capacity to bring you news from the Gallatin Valley and beyond as Yellowstone Public Radio’s first-ever Bozeman-based reporter.

Yellowstone Public Radio’s long search for an outstanding General Manager is over, and we are thrilled to welcome Kurt Wilson to the station.

Kurt joins us from Michigan with 30 years of broadcasting experience, the last 15 of which were in public media. He said that “I love that the mission of public radio is to serve our local communities and to provide information and programming that makes a difference in our listeners’ lives.”
