Resounds: John Taliaferro

Anna Paige

Long before the Sierra Club, there was George Bird Grinnell, a man whose vision and prolific writing launched the American conservation movement to protect the American West and specifically Montana. Drawing on 40,000 pages of Grinnell’s correspondence and diaries, John Taliaferro reveals a man whose deep concerns for Native Americans and the preservation of the American West created a vision that still guides the future of our national heritage and natural treasures.
