Rosendale, Daines, Tester Plan To Attend Biden Inauguration

Montana’s entire congressional delegation will attend Wednesday's inauguration of Joe Biden as the nation’s 46th president.

Montana’s Republican U.S. Rep., Matt Rosendale, who earlier this month voted to reject certain electoral votes that helped secure Biden’s victory, confirmed his plans this week on Fox News contributor Sara Carter’s podcast.

"I will be attending the inauguration of the 46th President of the United States on Wednesday, because it is important for us to do that."

Republican U.S. Sen. Steve Daines will also attend Biden’s inauguration, saying it signals "a peaceful transfer of power and underscores the importance of standing united as Americans."

Daines earlier this month also planned to object to certain electoral votes for Biden, but reversed course after insurgents mobbed the Capitol January sixth.

Montana’s Democratic Sen. Jon Tester will also be at Biden’s inauguration. A statement from Tester’s press office says once Biden is sworn in, work needs to immediately begin to get the pandemic under control in order to reopen the economy.
